As an occupier user or occupier admin, you may receive an invitation email that invites you to sign in to a portal, mobile app, or both. Once you have signed in to the portal you can use it to manage your own essensys Platform data, and, if you are an occupier admin, manage the essensys Platform data for other users associated with your occupier.

The first-time sign in process is different to subsequent sign in processes, because you need to create a private password for signing in to your portal. That is, you need to replace the temporary password from your invitation email with a new password.

First-time portal sign in

Before you begin

  • You must have received an invitation email to access your portal with a temporary password.

  • Your device must be connected to a data network. For details describing how to connect to the Wi-Fi Secure network, see Connect your devices to Wi-Fi.

First-time portal sign in

  1. Open your portal.
Your portal's URL is provided as a link in your invitation email. The portal opens on the sign in page.

  2. Sign in using the temporary details from your invitation email:

    1. Username - The email address that is associated with your occupier user account.

    2. Temporary password - The password that has been issued for you to use on first sign in.

  3. Click Sign in.
The Reset Password dialog box opens.

  4. Specify a new password for your user account.

  5. Click OK.

Your sign in details are updated. Your portal opens and is ready for use.

Your email address and the password that you just created are now your sign in credentials for your portal.

Tip: If you also use a mobile app to manage your own details, you will use the same sign in credentials (username and password) to access it as you use for signing in to the portal.
