To edit a number select it from the Telephone Manager table and click Edit at the top of the screen.

Status (To Activate or Deactivate a number): To change status to ‘Active’ from ‘Reserved’, click the Enable button until it reads 'On'. Then ensure you click 'Save' at the bottom of the screen. If ‘pending’ occurs for a prolonged period, contact essensys via a case form.

DDI: This cannot be edited here and will appear in grey.

Extension: This cannot be edited here and will appear in grey

PIN: This cannot be edited here and will appear in grey. The number shown is the default set by Connect and cannot be changed.

Enable: See Status above.

Alt. number: This is an alternative number that can be used to reach you. You can input any number.

Device type: Select a name that corresponds to that on the device.

MAC address: This will be automatically set up.

First name & Last name: Use to identify, it does not have to be a person’s name (for example, it might be a team name). If the extension is associated with a user, this field will be updated automatically.

Job title: This will be set to Default if not specified.
