Call waiting is a service whereby a user already on a call, is notified by a tone that second call is incoming.

This service is enabled by default for all essensys clients.
​
However it can be disabled (for users wanting the second call to go to voicemail or forward elsewhere), by dialling *43 on your handset, and enabled by dialling #43.
